Bugno Art Gallery was founded by Massimiliano Bugno in 1991, the year of its opening in Venice, in the San Marco district opposite La Fenice theatre. In 2016, the gallery expanded with a new 180 sq. meter exhibition space, adjacent to the historic site, dedicated to monographic exhibitions and events.
An international vision and a local commitment are Bugno Art Gallery’s trademarks.
The gallery spaces have hosted the works of: Joseph Beuys, Alighieri Boetti, Piero Dorazio, Ben Vautier, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Nicola De Maria, Mario Schifano, Giuseppe Santomaso, Emilio Vedova, Edmondo Bacci, just to name a few.
Their commitment pursued over the years has been to keep the link with the local artists alive, re-evaluating the artistic activity of the city of Venice, from the post-war period onwards, keeping an eye on the new contemporary artists.
Bugno Art Gallery hosts the works of internationally recognized artists, emerging and well-known talents.
Since 2004 their attention has also focused on photography; several artists have been exhibiting including: Luca Campigotto, Marco Zanta, Paolo Ventura, Maurizio Galimberti, Bruno Cattani, Pier Paolo Fassetta and Fabio Zonta.
